Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. We believe in providing comprehensive care to our patients and families, and we need a team member who is committed to delivering the highest quality of care.The Mental Health Technician will provide direct care to patients, including monitoring patient activities and providing mental health services to those in need. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and familiarity with the principles of mental health and treatment.We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, and able to maintain a positive attitude in any situation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, as well as experience in a mental health setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor patient activities and provide mental health services to those in need.
  2. Maintain a positive attitude in any situation.
  3. Work independently, as well as collaboratively with other professionals to ensure quality care.
  4. Maintain patient confidentiality.
  5. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  6. Comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Assist with the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
  8. Document patient care and progress.
  9. Participate in continuing education and training.
  10. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota.
