Mental Health Technician

The Mental Health Technician will be responsible for providing direct patient care, aiding in the development of treatment plans, and participating in therapeutic activities.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in a mental health setting. Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care and assist in development of treatment plans.
2. Participate in therapeutic activities to support patient care.
3. Maintain appropriate communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Utilize mental health terminology and treatments effectively.
5. Demonstrate understanding of the principles of therapeutic patient care.
6. Follow the policies and procedures of the mental health facility.
7. Monitor patient progress and document patient care.
8. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients.
9. Assist with medication administration and management.
10. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
