Medical Records Clerk

CHI St. Alexius Health is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing patient medical records in accordance with the hospital's standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to work independently and be proficient in using computer software. 1. Maintain and organize patient medical records in accordance with the hospital's standards and procedures.
2. Utilize medical record software to assist with administrative tasks.
3. Monitor the accuracy of medical record entries and review for completeness.
4. Gather and organize patient information in preparation for review by healthcare staff.
5. Respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner.
6. Ensure the confidentiality of all medical records.
7. Suggest improvements to medical record processes and procedures.
8. Answer inquiries from patients and healthcare staff regarding medical records.
9. Assist with other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
