Laboratory Supervisor

CHI St. Alexius Health is searching for an experienced and driven Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that we provide the highest quality of care to our patients. As the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the laboratory staff and ensuring that all laboratory personnel follow established procedures and policies.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory, including supervising and coordinating the activities of laboratory staff.
2. Monitor laboratory activities to ensure that all personnel are following established procedures and policies.
3. Analyze test results and assess accuracy of data to ensure quality patient care.
4. Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations.
5. Monitor and maintain laboratory resources, including equipment and supplies.
6. Train laboratory personnel in specific laboratory techniques and procedures.
7. Address any issues or concerns that arise in the laboratory and take appropriate action to resolve them.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of laboratory activities.
9. Prepare reports and other documents as necessary.
10. Stay up-to-date on new laboratory techniques and procedures.
