Laboratory Supervisor

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of laboratory operational and personnel management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Responsibilities:

1. Supervise laboratory personnel to ensure that services are provided in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a high-quality laboratory environment.
3. Monitor laboratory performance and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
4. Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that the laboratory is adequately stocked and equipped.
5. Train and mentor laboratory personnel in order to enhance their skills and develop their abilities.
6. Monitor laboratory costs and ensure that the laboratory remains within budgetary limits.
7. Maintain laboratory records and prepare reports as required.
8. Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement processes.
9. Liaise with other departments in order to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
10. Address customer complaints and queries in a timely and professional manner.
