Lab Assistant

CHI St. Alexius Health is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and review of laboratory services while providing excellent patient care.The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in Medical Technology or a related field, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to stay organized and manage a variety of tasks. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development, implementation, and review of laboratory services.
2. Provide excellent patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of laboratory services and results.
4. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
5. Assist with laboratory testing and analysis as needed.
6. Ensure that laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.
7. Assist in the training of new laboratory personnel.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
9. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
