Insurance Follow Up Representative

At CHI St. Alexius Health, we are looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative who will be responsible for following up with insurance companies to ensure that our billing and coding is accurate and that claims are paid promptly. Responsibilities for this job include:

• Following up with insurance companies in a timely manner to ensure accurate billing and coding
• Investigating discrepancies between the billing and coding and the insurance company's records
• Resolving any issues related to billing and coding with insurance companies
• Working with insurance companies to ensure that claims are paid promptly
• Keeping up-to-date with any changes in insurance regulations and policies
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Providing customer service to both internal and external customers
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve billing and coding accuracy
• Collaborating with other team members to streamline processes and ensure accuracy
