
Inpatient Pharmacist

- Dispensing and verifying the accuracy of medications for inpatient use
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitoring and assessing the safety and efficacy of medications for inpatients
- Providing drug information and education to patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
- Reviewing and interpreting medication orders to ensure appropriate therapy and dosing
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient medication records
- Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and medication-related issues
- Adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements for pharmacy practice
- Keeping up-to-date with new medications and treatment practices to provide the best possible care for patients
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of medications to patients
- Identifying and reporting adverse drug reactions and medication errors to minimize patient harm
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and participating in medication use evaluations
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Active Pharmacist License In The State Of North Dakota.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Inpatient Pharmacy Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacotherapy, Medication Management, And Drug Interactions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team.
