EVS Technician

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking an experienced Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to join our team in providing a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors and staff. This position is critical in helping to maintain a sanitary, healthy and comfortable environment for our patients and visitors.The successful EVS Technician will possess exceptional knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards. They should have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Clean and sanitize patient rooms, exam rooms, waiting areas, offices, hallways, and other areas of the hospital.
2. Follow all established procedures and protocols for cleaning and sanitation.
3. Follow all safety regulations and use proper cleaning equipment and supplies.
4. Ensure all areas are properly stocked with necessary cleaning supplies.
5. Respond to requests for assistance from other departments in a timely manner.
6. Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed.
8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
9. Work independently and as part of a team.
10. Assist with other duties as assigned.
