Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health is looking for an experienced Dialysis RN to join our team. We are searching for an individual with a passion for patient care and a dedication to delivering high-quality healthcare. Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and clinical skills.The successful candidate will have prior experience in acute dialysis care, as well as a current RN license and BLS certification. They will need to be knowledgeable in dialysis principles, equipment, and procedures, and possess the ability to make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the Dialysis RN will be responsible for providing patient education, in-service training and counseling, and maintaining accurate patient records.If you are an individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional care and are eager to join a vibrant and supportive team, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities of the Dialysis RN include:

  1. Administering acute dialysis care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
  2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  3. Educating patients and their families about dialysis treatments and protocols.
  4. Providing in-service training and counseling to other staff members.
  5. Assessing patient responses to dialysis treatments and making appropriate adjustments.
  6. Monitoring patient progress and responding to any changes in condition.
  7. Collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
  8. Ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to in accordance with facility standards.
  9. Keeping abreast of new developments and advancements in dialysis treatments.

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota.
