
Clinic Receptionist
We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinic Receptionist to join the CHI St. Alexius Health team. This position will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and other members of our clinic. The successful candidate will be highly organized, with excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have a warm and friendly demeanor, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.To be successful in this position, the following qualifications are required: a high school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology; experience working in a medical office setting; experience with insurance verification; knowledge of HIPAA and other related regulations; ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently; and strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients and visitors to the clinic.
- Answer incoming calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Obtain patient insurance information and verify coverage.
- Schedule appointments and enter data into the computer system.
- Ensure all HIPAA and other related regulations are followed.
- Collect co-pays and other payments from patients and process into the system.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors.
- Handle patient inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
