- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in accordance with CHI St. Alexius Health's mission and values.
- Conduct evidence-based therapies and interventions to improve the mental health and well-being of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health and develop appropriate treatment goals.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Stay informed of new developments and research in the field of behavioral therapy and integrate them into practice.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families on coping strategies and resources for ongoing mental health management.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of care.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other professional development activities.

Degree In Psychology Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Behavioral Therapist Position At Chi St. Alexius Health. This Education Provides A Strong Foundation In Principles Of Behavior And Therapy Techniques.
Licensure Or Certification: Depending On The State And Specific Job Requirements, A Behavioral Therapist May Be Required To Hold A Specific License Or Certification Such As A Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc) Or A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Bcba).
Experience In Behavioral Therapy: Chi St. Alexius Health May Require A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Behavioral Therapy, Particularly In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience May Include Working With Individuals With Mental Health Disorders, Substance Abuse Issues, Or Developmental Disabilities.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapies: Chi St. Alexius Health May Require Knowledge And Experience In Evidence-Based Therapies Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Cbt), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Dbt), Or Applied Behavioral Analysis (Aba).
