Behavioral Health RN

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health RN to join the team at CHI St. Alexius Health. In this role, you will provide support to patients as they face mental health challenges. You must demonstrate a passion for providing quality patient care and a commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for our patients. To be successful in this role, you must have an understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatments, and principles of care. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and assess patients’ mental health and physical wellbeing.
2. Provide patient-centered care and support.
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
4. Administer medications as needed and document patient responses.
5. Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatments, and principles of care.
6. Facilitate therapy sessions with individual patients and family members.
7. Monitor and document patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
9. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients.
10. Remain current on relevant mental health topics and practices.
