  1. Manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise software assets, including acquisition, deployment, usage, maintenance, and retirement.
  2. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and conduct regular audits to identify any potential risks or discrepancies.
  3. Lead a team of support specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, procurement, and finance, to optimize software inventory and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software asset management, and implement new strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Develop and maintain processes and procedures for software asset management, including inventory tracking and reporting.
  7. Communicate complex technical concepts related to software asset management to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges related to software asset management, including software deployment and license management.
  9. Monitor and analyze software usage data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost-saving.
  10. Collaborate with vendors and negotiate favorable terms for software licensing agreements.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their understanding and support for software asset management initiatives.
  12. Participate in the development and implementation of new software asset management tools and systems.
  13. Train and educate employees on software asset management policies and procedures.
  14. Ensure the security and confidentiality of all software asset management information.
  15. Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to software asset management.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Enterprise Software Asset Management Systems: The Technology Support Lead Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Different Enterprise Software Asset Management Systems And Their Functionalities. This Includes Experience With Software Inventory Management, License Compliance, And Vendor Management.

  • Proven Experience In Managing Large-Scale Software Deployments: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Software Deployments In An Enterprise Environment. This Includes Experience In Planning, Testing, And Implementing Software Updates And Patches Across Multiple Platforms.

  • Strong Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Architecture, Operating Systems, And Network Infrastructure. This Will Enable Them To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues And Provide Effective Solutions.
