- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems for Chase Bank.
- Monitor and analyze system performance data to identify and troubleshoot potential issues.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes for automated monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and implement preventative measures to avoid future incidents.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that new systems and features are designed with reliability and availability in mind.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely response and resolution to critical system issues.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on system performance and improvements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve SRE practices at Chase Bank.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to foster their professional growth and development.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of System Reliability Engineering Principles And Practices, Including Experience With Tooling And Automation.
Strong Understanding Of Cloud Computing And Experience Working With Cloud-Based Infrastructure, Preferably In Aws.
Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field. Professional Certifications Such As Aws Certified Devops Engineer Or Google Professional Cloud Devops Engineer Are A Plus.
