Job Description

Establishing right SDLC practices including code reviews, pair programming and adhering to firm wide development and release standards. Working closely with plan teams and business aligned technology teams. Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed technical designs and performing POC’s. Documenting technical flows in MS Visio and Confluence. As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you'll help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems. Much of our support and software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and reducing work through automation. As an SRE, you’ll be focused on running better production applications and systems. Working closely with operate teams, understanding JPMorgan DevOps practices and aligning releases accordingly

Job Qualifications

  • Good hold on scripting including Shell/Perl and Python.

  • Good understanding of RDBMS and columnar databases(Oracle/Cassandra/Vertica)

  • Development (Coding) Java – 5-8 years of development

  • Good hold on MS office (power point, Excel, Word and Visio)
