- Collaborate with senior management and other risk management professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for mitigating credit risk exposure.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential new clients, evaluating their financial health and creditworthiness to determine their risk levels.
- Prepare detailed credit risk reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for risk management strategies.
- Utilize financial models and data analysis to identify patterns and trends in credit risk, and make proactive recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in the hedge fund market, and use this knowledge to continuously improve risk management processes and procedures.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as hedge fund managers and credit rating agencies, to gather and analyze relevant information for risk assessment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure a thorough understanding of credit risk exposure and potential impact on the firm's assets.
- Participate in regular risk management meetings and provide updates on credit risk exposure and mitigation efforts, as well as contribute to the development of risk management policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Credit Risk Management Principles And Financial Analysis.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Hedge Fund Or Investment Banking Environment.
Familiarity With Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements Related To Credit Risk.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Teams And Stakeholders.
