  1. Lead the development and implementation of a cutting-edge data ecosystem using Databricks technology.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that support business needs and objectives.
  3. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks and projects.
  5. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  6. Monitor and optimize data performance and scalability.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and make recommendations for improvements to current processes and systems.
  8. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  9. Work closely with data analysts and scientists to provide them with reliable and efficient data access and processing.
  10. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and applications.
  11. Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues in a timely manner.
  12. Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes and drive efficiency.
  13. Lead the development and execution of data strategies and initiatives that align with business goals.
  14. Communicate and present data insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  15. Keep track of industry best practices and incorporate them into data engineering processes.
  16. Act as a subject matter expert on Databricks technology and provide training and support to the team as needed.
  17. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the data engineering team.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Databricks: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Hands-On Experience Working With Databricks, Including Building And Maintaining Data Pipelines, Optimizing Performance, And Troubleshooting Issues.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Data Engineering Principles: A Lead Data Engineer At Chase Bank Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Engineering Principles And Best Practices, Including Data Modeling, Etl Techniques, Data Warehousing, And Data Governance.

  • Proficiency In Programming And Scripting Languages: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Programming Skills, Including Proficiency In Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Scala. Experience With Big Data Technologies Like Hadoop, Spark, And Kafka Is Also Preferred.

  • Leadership And Project Management Experience: As A Lead Data Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Data Engineers And Overseeing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And Project Management Experience Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.

  • Financial Industry Knowledge: Chase Bank Deals With A Large Volume Of Financial Data, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Banking Industry And Its Data Requirements. Experience Working In A Financial Institution Or With Financial Data Is Highly Preferred.
