
Java Microservices Software Engineer
Credit Risk Technology are looking to hire a Software Engineer to drive the build out of the Global Clearing business’ credit risk monitoring platforms. The role will involve working closely with the Quantitative Research team, as well as numerous other Technology partners, to grow a suite of capabilities for monitoring cross-asset derivatives transaction flows. A key aspect of the role will be better integrating the business’ limit monitoring platform (Java-based) with a cross-CIB pricing, position and risk management system and other Swap Execution Platforms. Consequently, comfort with a number of technologies/languages is crucial and prior experience with real-time financial risk monitoring systems is desirable.
Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
7+ years of Advanced knowledge of architecture, Microservices, and designing of Enterprise applications
Advanced knowledge of asynchronous messaging platform, such as, Kafka or Apache MQ
Familiarty with in-memory database such as Gemfire, Hazelcast
