  1. Lead a team of investigators in identifying and collecting digital evidence related to cyber security incidents.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for digital forensic investigations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of digital evidence using various tools and techniques to determine the nature and source of cyber security incidents.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital forensics and continuously improve investigative processes.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and law enforcement, to gather and present digital evidence in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of all investigative activities and findings, including detailed reports and logs.
  7. Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
  8. Manage and prioritize multiple investigations simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and effective resolution.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and digital forensic service providers.
  10. Participate in incident response exercises and provide recommendations for enhancing incident response plans.
  11. Mentor and train team members on digital forensic best practices and techniques.
  12. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of digital forensic tools and make recommendations for updates or replacements as needed.
  13. Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all digital evidence and investigative activities.
  14. Stay informed about the latest cyber security threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively identify potential risks to the organization.
  15. Represent the organization in legal proceedings related to digital forensic investigations, if required.
