- Develop and implement data quality strategies and initiatives to improve overall data accuracy, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to identify data quality issues and implement solutions.
- Lead and manage a team of data quality analysts to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain data quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and track data quality metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data quality management.
- Train and educate employees on data quality principles and practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external data vendors and partners to ensure data quality standards are met.
- Act as a subject matter expert on data quality issues and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a data quality governance framework.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain data quality tools and systems.
- Lead and participate in data quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to promote a culture of data quality awareness and accountability.
Extensive Experience In Data Quality Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Leading Data Quality Transformation Projects In A Large Financial Institution Or A Similar Industry. They Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Data Quality Best Practices And Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Data Quality Initiatives.
Strong Technical Skills: The Data Quality Transformation Lead-Vice President Should Possess Strong Technical Skills, Including A Thorough Understanding Of Data Governance, Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, And Data Remediation Techniques. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Data Quality Tools And Platforms Such As Informatica Data Quality, Trillium, Or Collibra.
Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills With A Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Manage Complex Data Quality Projects From Inception To Completion. They Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Project Goals And Objectives.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Data Quality Transformation Lead-Vice President Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization. They Should Be Able To Influence And Persuade Others To Adopt Data Quality Best Practices And Drive Change Within The Organization.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Standards Related To Data Quality In The Financial Services Industry. They Should Be Familiar With Regulations Such As Bcbs 239, Gdpr, And Ccpa And Be Able To Ensure That Data Quality Initiatives Are Aligned With These Requirements.
