Job Description

Are you a driven and results-oriented individual looking for an exciting opportunity to work in the telecommunications industry? Charter Communications is seeking a highly motivated and experienced VAR Channel Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our valued Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to drive revenue and grow our business. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in channel sales and a passion for driving success.   1. Build and maintain relationships with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to drive revenue and grow the business.
  2. Identify and target potential VARs in the telecommunications industry to expand the partner network.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales through VARs, including creating sales plans and setting sales targets.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales performance of VARs and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing and sales materials to support VARs in selling Charter Communications' products and services.
  6. Conduct regular training and education sessions for VARs on new products, services, and promotions.
  7. Act as a liaison between Charter Communications and VARs, addressing any questions or concerns and providing support as needed.
  8. Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential VARs and promote Charter Communications' offerings.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in the VAR channel, and make recommendations for adjustments to the channel strategy.
  10. Maintain accurate records of VAR interactions, sales, and other relevant data for reporting purposes.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for Charter Communications, representing the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  12. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the VAR channel program and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Channel Management And Sales, Preferably In The Telecommunications Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Growing Relationships With Value-Added Resellers (Vars) And Other Channel Partners.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Internal Teams And External Partners.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Problem-Solving Abilities, With A Focus On Driving Revenue And Achieving Sales Targets.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field, Or Equivalent Work Experience. Experience In Project Management, Budgeting, And Forecasting Is Also Preferred.
