Responsibilities of the Strategic Procurement Specialist:

1. Develop and manage the company’s procurement activities, including identifying vendor opportunities and negotiating contracts.
2. Analyze the cost-effectiveness of potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities.
3. Negotiate prices and payment terms with vendors.
4. Research and evaluate new suppliers to ensure they meet the company’s procurement standards.
5. Monitor the performance of existing suppliers and ensure compliance with procurement regulations and policies.
6. Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
7. Monitor market trends and analyze the impact on procurement decisions.
8. Facilitate communication between vendors and internal stakeholders.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors.
10. Prepare reports on procurement activities and performance.
