Sr Cybersecurity Engineer

Charter Communications is seeking an experienced and highly capable Sr Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining a secure and reliable cyber infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, knowledgeable, and passionate about security, and has the enthusiasm and drive to take on new challenges. To be successful in this position, you will need to bring a strong technical understanding of security principles, technologies, and processes.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field, with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, etc). Expertise in security protocols, network security, and security architecture is essential. Additionally, extensive experience with incident response and risk management is highly desired. The successful candidate will also need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement secure and reliable cyber infrastructure solutions
2. Monitor and review security systems and protocols to detect and investigate potential security vulnerabilities
3. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
4. Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and trends
5. Perform regular security assessments and audits
6. Troubleshoot network and security issues
7. Manage incident response and risk management
8. Utilize security protocols, network security, and security architecture to ensure the safety of the communications network
9. Research and implement new security technologies
10. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of security solutions
11. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
12. Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the security of the telecommunications network
