  1. Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic networks for Charter Communications' customers.

  3. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure the integrity and functionality of the network.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on fiber optic installations and repairs.

  • Knowledge Of Fiber Optic Technology: A Fiber Technician At Charter Communications Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Fiber Optic Technology, Including Installation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Strong Networking And Troubleshooting Skills: A Fiber Technician Should Possess Strong Networking Skills And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues Related To Fiber Optic Networks.

  • Safety Training And Certification: Charter Communications Requires All Fiber Technicians To Undergo Safety Training And Obtain Relevant Certifications, Such As Osha And Cpr Certifications.

  • Physical Ability: This Position May Involve Climbing Ladders, Working In Confined Spaces, And Lifting Heavy Equipment, So Applicants Should Have The Physical Ability To Perform These Tasks Safely And Efficiently.
