Voice Network Engineer
This position will work closely within the team to develop a strategy and implement to support an evolving voice infrastructure. Review, understand, and help define future strategy; and then build solutions to support the vision. Provide recommendations that are vendor agnostic, with emphasis on solutions best for the company. Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Play a key role in implementing new technologies and transitioning to operations so they can successfully support and maintain Identify and document solution and process gaps, helping to further our voice strategy and architecture design. Develop, document, and maintain Standards within the collaboration space. Requires excellent problem solving and analytic skills to effectively address the needs of customers, including experience handling problem escalations and customer notifications.
Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
Minimum CCNP-Collaboration, CCIE-Collaboration, or equivalent experience
General understanding of network design, engineering, security, and firewalls
Ability to work independently during on-call support
Minimum of five (5) years Cisco VoIP engineering experience working in a large enterprise environment
