
SRE - Site Reliability Engineer
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and customer-focused Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join Charles Schwab's technology team. The SRE will be responsible for ensuring our systems are reliable, secure and highly available for our customers and partners. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and the passion to identify and solve complex problems.We are looking for someone who is able to collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to create reliable and secure systems and provide technical support as needed. The SRE is also expected to have excellent communication skills, and an ability to think both strategically and tactically.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field• 5+ years of experience in system and network engineering• Experience with automation and configuration management tools• Knowledge of web servers, database servers, networks and storage systems• Knowledge of Linux, Windows and/or Mac OS• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues• Ability to work in a team environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Experience with DevOps tools and practices
