
Senior Quantitative Analyst
Charles Schwab is looking for an experienced Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team. We are looking for someone with the right combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and communication ability to help drive our quantitative-focused initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mathematics, data analysis, statistics, and financial systems, as well as an understanding of financial markets. If you have a passion for financial markets, then this could be the perfect role for you.The Senior Quantitative Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quantitative models used to support the trading and investment decisions of Charles Schwab. This position requires a combination of strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and communication abilities. Required qualifications include:• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the financial services industry• A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field• Expertise in statistical and mathematical modeling, and data analysis• Strong knowledge of financial markets and products• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills• Proficiency with programming languages (e.g. Python, R, or C++)
