Senior Manager, Supervision & Controls

Charles Schwab is looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager, Supervision & Controls to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and control activities to ensure the safety and soundness of Charles Schwab’s employees, customers, and clients. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the financial services industry, as well as in-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements. They should also have a track record of effectively managing complex projects, leading teams, and developing and delivering process improvement initiatives.The Senior Manager, Supervision & Controls should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field• 5+ years’ experience in a financial services environment, with a focus on risk, compliance, and/or controls• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, leading teams, and creating process improvement initiatives• Understanding of the financial services industry and in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements• Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders• Ability to work and interact with all levels of the organization
