We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager to join our team and lead our Senior and Vulnerable Investor Investigations department. In this role, you will play a critical role in protecting our most vulnerable clients and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.   1. Oversee the Senior and Vulnerable Investor Investigations department and ensure all team members are properly trained and equipped to handle cases involving vulnerable clients.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to senior and vulnerable investors.
  3. Lead investigations into potential instances of fraud, abuse, or other misconduct targeting senior and vulnerable clients.
  4. Work closely with other departments and senior leadership to identify and address potential risk areas related to senior and vulnerable investors.
  5. Monitor industry trends and updates related to senior and vulnerable investors and make recommendations for necessary changes to internal processes and procedures.
  6. Review and analyze data to identify patterns and potential areas of concern related to senior and vulnerable investors.
  7. Communicate regularly with clients and their families to provide updates on investigations and address any concerns they may have.
  8. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and respond to any inquiries or audits related to senior and vulnerable investor cases.
  9. Provide guidance and support to team members in handling complex and sensitive cases involving senior and vulnerable clients.
  10. Foster a culture of ethics and integrity within the department and ensure all investigations are conducted with the highest ethical standards.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to develop and deliver training programs on identifying and protecting senior and vulnerable clients.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the department.
  13. Represent the company in external meetings and conferences related to senior and vulnerable investors.
  14. Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and thorough investigations.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all investigations and provide regular reports to senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Financial Services Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Financial Services Industry, With A Deep Understanding Of Investment Products, Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Investigative And Analytical Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate With Excellent Investigative And Analytical Skills, Including The Ability To Identify Patterns And Trends, Conduct Thorough Investigations, And Make Sound Recommendations Based On Findings.

  • Knowledge Of Senior And Vulnerable Investor Protection Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulations Related To Senior And Vulnerable Investor Protection, Such As Finra Rule 2165 And Sec Rule 17A-14, And Be Able To Apply Them Effectively In Their Investigations.

  • Leadership And Management Experience: As A Senior Manager, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team, Setting Strategic Direction, And Driving Results. They Should Also Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Professional Certifications: A Candidate With Professional Certifications Such As Certified Fraud Examiner (Cfe) Or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (Cams) Will Be Highly Preferred For This Role, As It Demonstrates Their Expertise And Commitment To The Field Of Financial Investigations.
