
Production Support Engineer
Work on quick restoration of incidents and problem management. Real-Time troubleshooting of process workflows and participate in Techline chat triaging issues during market and off hours. Analyze statistics and incidents to develop and execute availability improvement plans. Identify opportunities to leverage or build innovative monitoring and operation tools for trading applications. Foster Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset and solve problems through automation and innovation. Develop tools, frameworks, and instrumentation to validate and increase rollout success for applications. Partner within the support organizations to build and rollout plans for enhanced telemetry and reduce software defects. Receptive, approachable team member, with the ability to effectively interact with business partners, technology teams, offshore, and professional services.
Proven track record working on complex enterprise production application support efforts.
3 + years of experience with listed technical skills.
Extensive experience in application support role in financial institutions.
Experience transitioning platforms to the cloud with knowledge of cloud frameworks.
Ability to develop automation with JAVA, Bash, Python, Powershell or Perl.
