Oracle Application DBA

As application DBA for Schwab's Reference Data platform, you will be responsible for availability, performance, and resiliency of a number of critical large/complex databases across the Security Master and Fundamental Data application spaces. Assist in monitoring, alerting, performance tuning and diagnosing issues for key databases and environments. Diagnose database server reliability and performance issues. Tuning SQL queries to improve performance. Using tools to find the most frequently run queries and other performance issues (AWR, OEM, ITRS, AppDynamics, Zabbix). Ensure that new database code meets Schwab standards for readability, reliability and performance. Design indexes for existing applications. Review, deploy and test scripts/code.
