- Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain test cases, plans, and scripts to thoroughly test all aspects of our digital products.
- Execute test cases and identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing QA processes and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in QA methodologies and tools, and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Actively participate in team meetings, providing updates on QA progress and identifying potential risks and issues.
- Provide regular reports on QA metrics and performance to management and stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for any QA-related inquiries or issues, and work to resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Extensive Experience In Software Quality Assurance: A Lead Qa Engineer At Charles Schwab Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Software Quality Assurance, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Qa Teams.
Proficiency In Automated Testing Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Automated Testing Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, And Jmeter, And The Ability To Create And Maintain Automated Test Scripts.
Strong Knowledge Of Qa Methodologies And Processes: A Lead Qa Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Qa Methodologies And Processes, Including Agile, Waterfall, And Devops, And Be Able To Effectively Implement Them In The Testing Process.
