Job Description

  1. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all Charles Schwab facilities, including offices, buildings, and common areas.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for the effective management and operation of facilities, ensuring they align with the company's goals and objectives.
  3. Manage and coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility repairs, maintenance, and renovations.
  4. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  5. Monitor facility budgets and expenses, making recommendations for cost-saving measures and negotiating contracts with vendors.
  6. Collaborate with department heads to understand their facility needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  7. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment for employees and visitors.
  8. Oversee the procurement of necessary equipment, supplies, and furniture for facilities.
  9. Lead and manage a team of facility staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance and productivity.
  10. Communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and stakeholders regarding facility-related issues and concerns.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  12. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and employee engagement within the facility management team.
  13. Take ownership of any emergency situations that may arise and develop contingency plans to mitigate any potential risks.
  14. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility management, including maintenance schedules, budgets, and contracts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facility Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facility Management, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Environmental Standards.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including Budgeting And Scheduling.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Various Stakeholders And Vendors.
