
DevOps Architect
Working as a Principal Architect you will lead IT transformation initiatives, systems optimization projects and provide direct influence on technology strategy and direction for the Schwab Technology Services organization. Act as a cultural leader and champion of DevOps strategies and practices at Schwab. Create and enforce DevOps standards and patterns to enable teams to deliver expected outcomes of DevOps operating model at scale. Provide expertise on tooling and methodologies to enable DevOps operating model across hundreds of delivery teams. Baseline current DevOps capabilities within Schwab and provide roadmap targets for near term and future state DevOps adoption. Provide guidance on adoption of modern application paradigms including containers, microservices and event streaming. Consulting, education and mentoring architects and leaders across the firm in DevOps practices.
Demonstrable industry leading experience driving DevOps adoption across large development organizations
Extensive experience with cloud technologies and strategies including Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes
Significant experience with IT Strategy and Technology Service Management
Extensive return on investment and Business Case development experience
