  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive community relations strategy to enhance the university's visibility and impact in the local community.
  2. Foster and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnership opportunities.
  3. Serve as a liaison between the university and community groups, attending meetings and events to represent the university and build relationships.
  4. Collaborate with university departments and faculty to identify and facilitate community engagement initiatives that align with the university's mission and values.
  5. Develop and manage community outreach programs and events, including volunteer opportunities, community service projects, and educational workshops.
  6. Conduct research and stay informed on community needs and issues, identifying ways for the university to address and support these needs.
  7. Coordinate and oversee the university's participation in community events and sponsorships, ensuring a positive and impactful presence.
  8. Develop and maintain a database of community contacts and partnerships, regularly communicating with them to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
  9. Serve as a resource for faculty and staff on community engagement strategies and initiatives, providing training and support as needed.
  10. Monitor and report on the impact of community relations efforts, providing data and insights to inform future strategies and initiatives.
  11. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop materials and messaging that effectively promote the university's community engagement efforts.
  12. Stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in community relations, continuously seeking out new and innovative ways to engage with the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Community Outreach And Engagement, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Successful Community Relations Strategies And Initiatives.

  • Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.
