  1. Perform maintenance and repairs on various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  2. Supervise and train a team of union engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and effective building operations.
  3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning of building systems.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with building systems or equipment.
  5. Monitor and maintain building safety and compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
  6. Collaborate with property management team to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  7. Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors for building projects and repairs.
  8. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
  9. Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices to continuously improve building operations.
  11. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to tenant requests and concerns.
  12. Assist in the preparation and management of the department budget.
  13. Act as a point of contact for emergency situations and be available for on-call duties as needed.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Serve as a role model for safety procedures and promote a safe workplace culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Building Maintenance And Engineering, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.

  • Knowledge Of Local Building Codes And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Building Systems Such As Hvac, Plumbing, And Electrical.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.

  • Familiarity With Union Contracts And Experience Working With Unionized Employees.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Facilities Management, Or A Related Field Preferred. Professional Certifications Such As Cfm Or Pe Are A Plus.
