  1. Lead the planning and design process for laboratory spaces in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals for their laboratory spaces.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends and best practices in lab design.
  4. Develop innovative and efficient solutions to optimize laboratory functionality and workflow.
  5. Create detailed lab plans, including layouts, equipment placement, and material specifications.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all lab designs.
  7. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members to provide updates and seek feedback.
  8. Mentor and guide junior lab planners in their professional development.
  9. Stay updated on the latest advancements in lab technology and incorporate them into designs.
  10. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to source and install lab equipment and materials.
  11. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that lab designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  12. Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of lab designs.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve lab planning processes and procedures.
  14. Represent the company at industry conferences and events to showcase our expertise in lab planning.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Laboratory Planning And Design: A Senior Lab Planner At Cbre Group Should Possess A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Laboratory Planning And Design, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Projects.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Laboratory Equipment And Technologies, Including Safety Protocols, Hvac Systems, And Space Utilization.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: As A Senior Lab Planner, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Timelines, Budgets, And Resources Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Requires Regular Coordination With Clients, Architects, Engineers, And Other Stakeholders. Therefore, The Candidate Must Possess Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Build Relationships.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Architecture, Engineering, Or A Related Field: A Senior Lab Planner At Cbre Group Should Hold A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Architecture, Engineering, Or A Related Field. Professional Certifications, Such As Leed Or Aia, Are Also Highly Desirable.
