
Senior Building Engineer

- Oversee and manage the maintenance and operations of commercial buildings to ensure they are safe, efficient, and in compliance with all regulations and codes.
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify and address any potential issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure timely and effective upkeep of all building systems and components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and major projects.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inventory, and maintenance logs.
- Monitor and maintain building budgets and expenses related to maintenance and repairs.
- Train and supervise junior engineering staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, new technologies, and regulations related to building maintenance and operations.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and client safety standards.
- Collaborate with property management and other teams to address and resolve any tenant or client concerns related to building systems and maintenance.
- Participate in emergency on-call rotation for after-hours building systems emergencies.
- Conduct regular meetings with building management to provide updates on maintenance and operational activities.
- Continuously assess and recommend improvements to building systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Uphold company values and promote a positive and professional image of CBRE Group.
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Engineers And Technicians.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Construction Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Building Engineering Or Facility Management, Preferably Within A Commercial Real Estate Setting.
Professional Engineer (Pe) License Or Certified Facility Manager (Cfm) Certification Preferred.
Strong Technical Knowledge And Experience With Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Other Building Systems.
