Job Description

As a Pipefitter at CBRE, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of piping systems in commercial buildings.   1. Install, maintain and repair various types of piping systems in commercial buildings.
  2. Follow blueprints, specifications and building codes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential issues or maintenance needs.
  4. Troubleshoot and diagnose piping system problems and provide effective solutions.
  5. Collaborate with team members and other professionals to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
  6. Utilize a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks safely and effectively.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  8. Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service.
  9. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  12. Participate in training and development opportunities as needed.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail in all tasks.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Pipefitting Techniques And Tools: A Qualified Pipefitter At Cbre Group Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Pipe Materials, Fittings, And Installation Methods. They Must Also Be Familiar With Using Tools Such As Pipe Cutters, Threaders, And Welding Equipment.

  • Relevant Work Experience: Cbre Group Expects Its Pipefitters To Have Prior Experience In The Field, Preferably In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting. This Could Include Experience In Reading Blueprints, Installing And Repairing Pipes, And Troubleshooting Issues.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Pipefitter, One Must Be Able To Quickly Identify And Address Any Problems That May Arise During The Installation Or Repair Process. A Qualified Candidate Should Have Excellent Critical Thinking And Troubleshooting Abilities To Ensure Projects Are Completed Efficiently.

  • Attention To Safety Protocols: Cbre Group Places A High Priority On Safety, And A Qualified Pipefitter Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures. They Must Be Able To Follow Safety Guidelines And Ensure A Safe Working Environment For Themselves And Others.

  • Time Management And Organizational Skills: Working On Multiple Projects Simultaneously Is A Common Occurrence For Pipefitters At Cbre Group. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively And Prioritize Tasks To Meet Project Deadlines. They Should Also Have Good Organizational Skills To Keep Track Of Project Details And Materials.
