Meeting & Events Planner

This position is responsible for planning of multiple events including meeting with clients to work out event details, scheduled, scout and book locations, food, entertainment, staff and manage the setup/cleanup of the event. Coordinates on-site and off-site location set up (outside of conference center space) along with AV needs; Plans seating, dining, and guest list. Maintains a working relationship with vendors and venues. Has a strong knowledge of venues and vendor offerings while taking clients on tours of venue possibilities. Plans event entertainment, including music, performers, and guest speakers. Requests and reviews invoices in a timely manner; creates comprehensive financial reports. Plans services for events such as transportation for guests, special needs requirements, and event security.
