- Plan and Coordinate Meetings and Events: The Meeting & Events Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating all internal and external meetings and events for CBRE Group. This includes researching and booking venues, arranging catering, coordinating travel and accommodations, and managing event logistics.
- Execute Events with Exceptional Quality: The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional experiences and will be responsible for ensuring that all events are executed with the highest level of quality. This includes attention to detail in all aspects of the event, from set-up and decor to audio-visual equipment and guest experience.
- Communicate Effectively: Strong communication skills are essential for this role. The Meeting & Events Manager will be responsible for communicating with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and event attendees to ensure all details are effectively communicated and coordinated.
- Manage Budgets and Negotiate Contracts: This role will require the Meeting & Events Manager to manage budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure the best pricing and service for all events. They will also be responsible for tracking expenses and providing regular updates to management.
- Collaborate with Team Members: As part of the CBRE Group team, the Meeting & Events Manager will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events. This may include delegating tasks and providing guidance to team members.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: It is essential for the Meeting & Events Manager to stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure that CBRE Group's events are innovative and engaging. They may also be responsible for implementing new ideas and strategies to enhance the overall event experience.
- Manage Event Registration and Attendee Experience: The Meeting & Events Manager will be responsible for managing event registration, tracking attendance, and ensuring a positive attendee experience. This may include managing guest lists, coordinating check-in processes, and addressing any attendee concerns.
- Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: In this role, the Meeting & Events Manager will be responsible for ensuring all events are compliant
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Management, Preferably In The Corporate Sector.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Events Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members.
Proficiency In Event Planning Software And Technology, As Well As A Strong Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Best Practices.
