As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in the distribution and management of materials for our life sciences and pharmaceutical clients.   1. Receive, store, and distribute materials according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to various departments and clients.
  3. Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts.
  4. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  5. Follow proper handling and storage protocols for sensitive and hazardous materials.
  6. Collaborate with team members to fulfill material requests and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  10. Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or damages.
  11. Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed.
  12. Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and shipments.
  13. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding material status and requirements.
  14. Continuously seek to improve processes and efficiency in material handling.
  15. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in material handling.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Life Sciences Or Pharmaceutical Industry: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience Working In The Life Sciences Or Pharmaceutical Industry, As This Job Requires Knowledge Of Handling Sensitive Materials And Adhering To Strict Regulations.

  • Forklift Certification: As A Material Handler, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Moving Heavy And Delicate Materials Using Forklifts. Having A Forklift Certification Is Essential To Ensure Safe And Efficient Handling Of Materials.

  • Attention To Detail: Working With Sensitive Materials In A Highly Regulated Industry Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Being Detail-Oriented And Following Protocols And Procedures Accurately.

  • Ability To Work Overnight And On 3Rd Shift: This Job Requires The Candidate To Work Overnight And On 3Rd Shift, Which May Include Weekends And Holidays. The Candidate Should Be Willing And Able To Work These Shifts Consistently.

  • Strong Physical Stamina: Material Handling Can Involve Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Heavy Items, Which Requires Physical Strength And Stamina. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Without Any Difficulties.
