  1. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems within commercial buildings.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
  3. Perform inspections and identify potential maintenance needs, creating and implementing plans to address them.
  4. Keep accurate records of maintenance performed, including documenting any repairs or replacements.
  5. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on maintenance projects and issues.
  7. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
  9. Collaborate with contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance services.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in maintenance techniques and technologies.
  12. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
  13. Follow company policies and procedures, including adhering to budget guidelines.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  15. Adhere to all company and industry safety standards and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: A Maintenance Technician At Cbre Group Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Building Systems And Equipment, Including Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Mechanical Systems. They Should Also Have Experience With Troubleshooting And Repairing These Systems.

  • Experience In Facilities Maintenance: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In Facilities Maintenance, Preferably In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting. This Includes Experience With Preventative Maintenance, Repair Work, And Responding To Emergency Maintenance Requests.

  • Attention To Detail: Maintenance Technicians At Cbre Group Are Responsible For Ensuring That All Building Systems And Equipment Are Functioning Properly And Efficiently. They Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Address Potential Issues Before They Become Major Problems.

  • Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Communication With Colleagues, Clients, And Contractors. A Maintenance Technician Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Instructions.

  • Safety Awareness: As A Maintenance Professional, Safety Should Be A Top Priority. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations, As Well As Experience In Executing Safety Procedures To Minimize Risk And Prevent Accidents.
