  1. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems for clients.
  2. Train and mentor junior controls technicians to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
  3. Lead a team of controls technicians to effectively and efficiently complete projects and tasks.
  4. Monitor and manage the performance of building automation systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meeting client needs.
  5. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for building automation systems to minimize downtime and maintain optimal functionality.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with building automation systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their building automation systems.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in building automation technology, and make recommendations for implementing new systems or upgrades.
  9. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including equipment maintenance and repairs.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  13. Represent CBRE Group in a professional manner, maintaining a high level of integrity and customer service at all times.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness in delivering services to clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Controls Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Control Systems Such As Bms, Plc, Ddc, And Scada. They Should Also Have Experience In Troubleshooting, Programming, And Commissioning These Systems.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills: As A Lead Controls Technician, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading A Team, Managing Projects, And Delegating Tasks Effectively. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Clients, And Contractors.

  • Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Skills In Areas Such As Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, And Building Automation. They Should Also Have Knowledge Of Industry Standards, Codes, And Regulations Related To Controls Systems.

  • Project Management Experience: The Lead Controls Technician Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Various Projects, From Planning To Execution. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Project Management, Including Budgeting, Scheduling, And Resource Allocation.

  • Relevant Education And Certifications: A Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering, Building Automation, Or A Related Field Is Preferred For This Position. In Addition, Certifications Such As Certified Energy Manager (Cem) Or Certified Control Systems Technician (Ccst) Can Be Beneficial.
