  1. Oversee and lead the maintenance and operation of building automation systems for commercial properties.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building automation systems to ensure efficient functioning.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure timely and effective upkeep of building automation systems.
  4. Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for maintaining and operating building automation systems.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement improvements to building automation systems.
  6. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns related to building automation systems.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in building automation systems to provide the best possible service to clients.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing maintenance and repairs.
  9. Maintain accurate records of work performed and any system changes.
  10. Lead and participate in emergency response efforts as needed.
  11. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and installations.
  12. Monitor and manage inventory levels of equipment and supplies related to building automation systems.
  13. Conduct regular inspections of building automation systems to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to support overall goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Building Automation Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Experience In Designing, Programming, And Troubleshooting Building Automation Systems Such As Hvac, Lighting, And Security Controls.

  • Strong Technical And Analytical Skills: A Lead Controls Technician Should Possess Excellent Technical And Analytical Skills To Diagnose And Resolve Complex Control System Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Schematics.

  • Project Management Skills: The Role Of A Lead Controls Technician Involves Overseeing Multiple Projects, Thus, Strong Project Management Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Plan And Coordinate Resources, Manage Timelines, And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: As A Team Leader, The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Managing And Motivating A Team Of Technicians To Achieve Project Goals. This Includes Providing Guidance, Training, And Mentoring To Team Members.
