  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC issues to ensure proper functioning of systems.
  3. Respond to emergency repair requests and provide timely and efficient solutions.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of building equipment and systems to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on HVAC systems.
  6. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and installations.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing work on HVAC systems.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on maintenance and repair work.
  10. Collaborate with other building engineers and facilities management staff to ensure smooth operations of the building.
  11. Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts and supplies for HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures while carrying out job responsibilities.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with HVAC services.
  14. Train and mentor new HVAC technicians as needed.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Training: A Hvac Building Engineer At Cbre Group Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With A Preference For Candidates With A Technical Degree Or Certification In Hvac Systems. Additional Training Or Certifications In Building Automation Systems, Energy Management, Or Other Related Fields May Also Be Preferred.

  • Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Hvac Maintenance And Repair, Preferably In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting. Experience With Building Automation Systems And Energy Management Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Technical Skills: A Thorough Understanding Of Hvac Systems, Including Troubleshooting, Repair, And Maintenance, Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Also Be Proficient In Using Various Tools And Equipment Related To Hvac Systems, Such As Gauges, Thermometers, And Hand Tools.

  • Communication And Customer Service: Excellent Communication Skills Are Necessary For A Hvac Building Engineer At Cbre Group, As This Role Involves Working With Clients, Tenants, And Other Team Members. Candidates Should Also Have A Customer Service Mindset And Be Able To Handle And Resolve Any Issues Or Concerns That May Arise.
