- Oversee financial operations for real estate investment funds, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fund managers, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets for multiple funds.
- Review and approve fund expenses, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor fund performance and provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of fund transactions.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve fund accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fund accounting.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, providing clear and concise updates on fund financials.
- Participate in fund meetings and presentations as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fund Accounting Or Real Estate Finance.
Strong Understanding Of Gaap And Financial Reporting For Real Estate Investment Funds.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Experience With Yardi Or Other Real Estate Accounting Software Preferred.
