- Maintain and troubleshoot critical utility systems to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and increase the lifespan of equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with facility management and other team members to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs and maintenance reports.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide timely solutions to minimize disruption of services.
- Conduct regular training sessions for facility staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve facility operations and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Act as a point of contact for any facility-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor utility consumption and develop strategies to reduce energy costs.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure availability for emergency repairs.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facility/Utility Engineering, Preferably Within The Life Sciences Or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Cgmp Requirements For Pharmaceutical Facilities.
Strong Technical Skills, Including Proficiency In Autocad And Other Engineering Software.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Highly Regulated Environment.
