  1. Maintain and troubleshoot data center hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as server upgrades, backups, and software updates.
  3. Respond to and resolve IT issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Monitor data center systems and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  5. Communicate with team members and customers to provide updates and gather information to resolve issues.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for data center systems and processes.
  7. Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to implement new systems and technologies.
  8. Adhere to established IT policies and procedures to ensure data center security and compliance.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Continuously expand knowledge and skills in data center technologies and processes.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
  12. Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  13. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance data center operations.
  14. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized data center environment.
  16. Assist with physical server and network equipment installations and terminations.
  17. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
  18. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of data center equipment and supplies.
  19. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols in the data center.
  20. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Data Center Infrastructure: A Data Center It Technician At Cbre Group Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Data Center Infrastructure, Including Servers, Networking Equipment, Storage Devices, And Cooling Systems.

  • Proficiency In Troubleshooting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Troubleshooting Hardware And Software Issues In A Data Center Environment, As Well As Knowledge Of Diagnostic Tools And Procedures.

  • Familiarity With Virtualization Technologies: As Virtualization Is Becoming Increasingly Important In Data Centers, Candidates Should Have Experience With Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware And Hyper-V.

  • Experience With Data Center Security: Data Centers House Sensitive Information And Require A High Level Of Security. Candidates Should Have Experience With Data Center Security Protocols And Procedures, As Well As Knowledge Of Access Control Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: A Data Center It Technician Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Work Effectively With Other Team Members And Clients. They Should Also Be Highly Organized To Manage Multiple Tasks And Projects Within The Data Center.
